Costa Rican Blue Magic Mushrooms

Costa Rican Blue Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis, Costa Rican Blue) is a P. Cubensis variation originally found in the warm and temperate climate of Costa Rica. The Costa Rican Blue shrooms can be described as small to medium golden caps with pale stems that are quite blue. The blueing of mushrooms indicates that the fruiting body contains psilocybin and psilocin. In-fact the blueing is the psilocin content oxidizing. Researchers do not know exactly what the function of this blueing feature of magic mushrooms but some believe it could be an “on-demand” repellent against predators, that the compounds created when blueing could be toxic for any insects biting the mushroom fruit.
